Getting to know your project goals and priorities is what we love to do. We'll discuss the target audience, local stakeholders, and your vision for the final art experience. We'll get an understanding of your very real timing, budget, and scope parameters. Art can also earn points with some high performance building certifications!
We'll take the first step and propose themes, possible artists, and a project specific program. Collaborating with your key decision makers, we'll riff off of what we see and feel, ensuring the best outcome for all. In tandem, we'll refine the budget, schedule, and DEI forecasts so that we can see the impact of each decision during this phase.
Once the program is locked and the funds received, we work with local artists to procure each piece of art. From purchasing prints to commissioning murals, we will manage all the details. A good expediting process keeps everyone in the know, and we work to limit surprises to just those final “Wow’s” at the opening.
We make sure all pieces are installed and lit properly. You’ll receive a final package of documentation including artist profiles and service agreements, so you can easily maintain the art throughout the life of the development. Our relationships with galleries and arts institutions are super important. More often, we are discovering artists at fairs, studios, and grassroots programs serving the local communities. That’s how we access a wide range of mediums, identify new collaborations, and ultimately source high quality artwork which reflects the values and dialogue that is important to a specific place.
